Carrie I think you are reading too much of a serious political message into this badly choreographed snippet. Watch it with the sound off - I was trying to bring a bit of humour to the midst of the campaign. Not all tweets have to be serious

Well I can tell you your humour didn’t work + comes across as sexist. Why? Because they are all women, they’re nodding because the situation is very upsetting, and discrimination is a regular issue. Best way to do a joke is: ‘does everyone laugh, or just me’. That will help you.

Carrie if I misjudged I apologise. I would criticise male MPs inanely nodding behind a leader in the same way and compare them to nodding dogs. This isn’t about gender. I think this stunt did nothing to help female politicians - they look plain daft and that isn’t good
