You are mistaken I believe. She did indeed make clear, explicitly, that she is indeed putting herself forward as candidate for PM.

Yes but I could say that as well. I’m sympathetic to the position of radical-Liberals but her Tory-lite stance is an embrassment to the memory of a leader like Charles Kennedy. The Lib Dem high water mark has passed - their key role could be kingmakers but never PM. She’s deluded

I don’t disagree with your last point, but I am impressed with Lib Dems pro-EU stance. But a Leader’s Debate will not be exclusively about EU and I can understand why participating leaders in tv debate prior to general election should be aspiring UK PMs.

Do the Lib Dem’s have any other policies other than Brexit for her to discuss. A serious question - or are they a one trick pony i.e. Remain / revoke but that’s it

I can quite understand your question there. But Lib Dems are solid Remainers - and that’s the crucial issue now. On the other hand, I understand Labour’s internal difficulties, but they should go strongly for 2nd referendum. They have been too ambiguous.

Labour are very clear they will now go for a second referendum - this hadn’t been the case in the past though

Actually, to revert to your original point, on reflection I agree Nicola Sturgeon should be included as she is an elected head of government. The NI parties are, by their own actions, irrelevant, and Plaid are not a majority party.

I think only Johnson and Corbyn should be there as the only real options as PM

Johnson is obviously solidly Brexit (for so long as it serves his personal interests) and Corbyn is ambiguous (personally a Brexiter?). With just the two of them, there would be no unambiguous Remain voice. So, yes, bring on Nicola Sturgeon, but she can’t speak for all UK.

And Jo Swinson of course, as all-UK Remainer.
