Theres never any mention that the GMB are fighting this tooth and nail and have advised their members not to sign. Both my union chums daughters work part time in a Leeds ASDA and are members. This is neoliberalism in the raw! Brutal, cruel and harsh.

I think they do but no unions allowed though. USDAW and GMB have been fighting for recognition for years. Aldi have been fighting unions globally for decades.

Ah! Yes, theres always a catch! I thought that the Social contract element of Worker and trade union rights, hadn't been so badly eroded in Germany? Workers councils etc. Board participation? Or has the ECB fucked that up in Germany too?

They have build their business since the 1970s bypassing a lot of the worker participation systems found in post WW2 Germany
