In most schools it’s jointly developed between staff, student and parents representatives and governors. When I was young you tried it on to stretch the rules, but if caught it was ‘fair cop guv’. But now parents hysterically whinge about why are they picking on my special one

Often breach of school uniform occurs because school uniform strictly prohibits the actual affordable clothes and practically forces parents to fork out a fortune

I think that’s an old story. Schools have broken away from that prescriptive high cost approach that prevailed up to a year ago
