Depends how it's done, we cant continue with low wages, it's people that spend in the economy, increasingly spending is down and debt increasing. Low wages also cost the government, not only low productivity and standards but higher demand on welfare and support services.
Great idea but where is the money coming from - it’s going to cost a fortune and will drive up salaries for other early career teachers as well.
