Labour (under Harriet Harman) promised to accept the result of the referendum. Labour centrists and LibDems (7/8 of them) had waved the referendum bill through parliament without a murmur. Corbyn did not vote on article 50.
I’m at a loss to understand Catio’s point - or are you saying same sex marriage legislation was a bad move?

Not about specific issue (altho suspect you knew that) - its suggesting that cherry picking examples of Swinson’s voting record is a little hypocritical given Corbyn’s many many votes against Labour and with Cons... it’s quite a simple point. Glass houses, stones etc

PS the straw man/putting words in mouth attempted by suggesting that they are “saying same sex marriage legislation was a bad move” isn’t helpful or good-faith debate.

You should pay more attention then. Corbyn fan Club are accusing someone as being bad because she voted with the Tories. But look, there is legislation where Corbyn has also voted with the Tories. So is Corbyn bad? Or that Tory - Liberal coalition legislation was good? Discuss.

It’s the specific cruel austerity legislation she backed. All governments have some legislation that is for the common good ie same sex marriage. Some legislation is inherently bad others good
