So we’ve now moved onto WW1 analogies. A time when the wealthy ruling class wanted to play soldiers by sending millions of poor & working class conscripts to be slaughtered. V.Similar to Brexit where the poor & working class will still pay the price.

The upper classes also suffered heavy losses in the trenches. Young men just out of the public schools like Eton, and Oxbridge became junior officers. They had one on the lowest survival rates often leading troops “Over the Top” with just a revolver.
