Looking at the pic it would appear he's taken the road of exploiting & killing animals?

Yes, not that that makes such right of course. He nor them will get any awards from me. It is no road to success.

Let’s show some decency. He’s a Syrian refugee who has made a new home in Wales and is working hard to assimilate. Would you have made that comment about any other British livestock farmer? You are entitled to your own vegetarian / vegan beliefs but I don’t they are helpful here

I do hope you're not going down the road of implying racism here? My angle has nothing to do from where he might be from nor the background to any other farmer. He has fled a nation where violence & death have been normalised & has chosed to enact same on animals. Not good.

I’m not accusing you of racism but you seem to be hijacking a good news story about refugee integration to your own agenda. We should be applauding this man for his hard work in integrating and not picking fault in his choice of employment

No, you post a pic of a man smiling next to a vehicle that is used for transporting defenceless animals to a murderous violent death. I condemn not 1 iota his making the decision to move & integrate, I do condemn his choice of vocation based on the very violence he has fled.

Do you honestly think it’s inany of our gift to condemn an individual for pursuing a legal occupation. I don’t. Whilst we all have relative freedom of speech, we also have the right to chose our work roles. I’m not going to condemn him for pursuing a job that used his strengths

To state the farmer has the right to exploit is to state the capitalist has that same right with his worker. It is after all quite legal. These are at best most dusbious ethics.

Never mind. You’ve taken an extreme stance to a nice story. Bye
