Electric has been off all day, and when it comes back on, I get this shock news. Surprised I have to say, but good luck to the lad. Will be difficult for him to drive a new car, on a rally not suited to Hyundai, but there you go. Bet Moffet was expecting a call after last rally!

I honestly thought Rovanpera wouldnt get a WRC drive till 2021 at the earliest - does that mean Meeke is going to leave at the end of this year or Latvala (or both)? Will Lappi return to Toyota as well for 2020?

Or is this just his agent creating a story to get him some coverage or better alternative offers? I think he has the same agent as Lappi

I think so Meurig. There are none so devious - and sometimes downright dishonest - as most sports agents. They just want to maximise their 20% take of the earnings

Interesting. WRC+ are covering some of Rally Estonia by the looks of it. Highlights I expect, but something to look forward to! Ott declared now, so 5 WRC cars in it.pic.twitter.com/UcDxZCQLzI
