Thanks you so much for coming back to me. I thought the ILO had reviewed the definitions in the 80s, 90s and 2000s. I certainly hadn’t realised working one hour a fortnight was the definition of employed status in the 1970s.

It wasn't then and it isn't now. The ILO definition is one hour a week and that definition is applied all the way back to the start of our employment figures in 1971.
