#WRC #RallyMexico SS 10: How lucky you can be? @SebOgier had a front-left puncture, but the stage was red flagged, but why on earth!? @EsapekkaLappi was blocking the road, but they were warning the next drivers... #WRClive #RallyMEX #RallyMX #WRCmexico @RallyMexico

I’m sure Citroen told the organisers that Lappi’s position was more precarious than it was just to get it red flagged when they saw him losing time. Evans and Meeke passed it with no problem. French games. The notional time was ridiculously generous to Ogier

@Becsywecsy@voiceofrally The incident and timing of the red flag just doesn't ring true. OGIER was well into stage, only WRC rally contender left on stage. No need for red flag, and in a similar incident when Sunninen left the road, no flag in sight. Meeke and Evans passed ok.1 antwoord 0 retweets 3 vind-ik-leuks -

Agreed - Ogier was 4 seconds behind Evans at split 3 in SS10 before being red flagged and was awarded a notional time faster than Evans. It doesn’t seem right

His time was actually 10 seconds behind Evans when the times were updated

So many of us are cross that there have been shenanigans from Citroen
