I mean democracy, but then that is beside the point. If Labour has any sense of self-awareness Labour needs him in his current position. If a party has its deputy on and screams bias at the political program then it is the party that has issues not the editorial team.

I’d disagree. The party does have a problem and he’s called Tom. He’s not doing the work a Deputy needs to do behind the scenes of building cohesion and bridges. The editorial team are fully aware of these issues - it’s their full time job - and they just played a political game
