No argument at all - but in Atlee’s case WW2 had unfrozen the establishment and the appetite for change was there and the people had enough of being told what to do. Corbyn has had to spend years - with his supporters - in the unfreezing process against a vicious media campaign

well, the media is crucifying him. but he and others in labour ( e.g Dianne abbot ) will always be susceptible to attack for their apparent cosying up to terrorists back in the 70's .. or maybe the 80's. the present border problem may reignite that.

I think ‘cosying’ is not really what went on, but it’s another battle to be fought to highlight leading politicians from all major parties did it. It’s how conflicts are ended. The key objective now is creating a cadre of socialist politicians to keep the change going post Corbyn
