They could run dmack, not this season as already committe to supplier. But probably got a deal going with Michelin. It’s whether dmack can beat the sponsorship offer and provide as good a service as Michelin can. I’d be sceptical, after all they’ve been at it for a very long time

Brilliant video. Those were the days. Loved the casual way that commentator mentioned that all stages had no "recce". Only 60 stages that year...! Going soft. Ha,ha.

I know Pete - they were fun days. They drove all day and all night as well. The cars were also so basic. Thanks for triggering some nice nostalgia

Another lovely video from 1975 - watch the crowds in the forests standing a few feet away from the track and on the outside of bends. As Pete said no marshals in the proper stages - just the stately homeshttps://youtu.be/o8Dr7rXkSbo

Wonderful. 240+ entries. Wonder how many apart from you and me remember a certain hairspray. Love it.

Not a branded jacket or shirt in sight. Warm coats and head scarfs for the ladies. The big thing was no entry fee to the stages either.

I still remember my shock at being asked to pay to park to go into stage for the first time
