Colin, there are a lot of Remainers on Twitter. That's largely because the two main parties are pro-Brexit. So being almost entirely deprived of party-political representation we've had to represent ourselves, hence the vast #FBPE movement.
OK then, by 2:1 they rejected the proposed alternative to FPTP, on an awful turnout that was a good illustration of no real desire for change amongst the general population. The FPTP system isn’t great but we live in a democracy and change was rejected by a large margin

That’s not true Colin. The alternative to fptp was a poor one which was terribly explained and not supported by either of the main parties because a fair voting system will destroy both the Tories and Labour (due to them being coalitions which only survive in this awful system)
