Problem with Ford is that it has been slow to react to changes and is behind the curve. US shareholders not happy with company paying poor dividends and ranked 1% above junk. They want to see action to reverse this. Factories will close but where?

UK problem is that Ford doesn't produce cars in UK. Ford Europe loading money . When it comes to closing plant even without Brexit it was always harder in Europe because of the resistance. It's going to be interesting to see where the closures happen .

Perhaps a No Deal Brexit dividend will mean cars will have to be built in Britain to avoid WTO tariffs. I think I’m only joking but who knows. I can only think of the these mass market cars made in the UK -Vauxhall, Nissan, Honda, Toyota and Mini - excluding the premium brands
