Having access is one thing but being able to afford it is another, despite the stereotypes when it comes to a choice of putting food in your families bellies or the internet it's food every time.

It would help but we are still left with being able to afford a phone contract/Sim only for quite a few people, ofc that could be difference if we didn't have a Tory government. Clearly we cannot forget that Libraries are about books and knowledge not just internet access.

Yes and no - libraries will have information curated by professionals to ensure its honest and reliable - but not also not censoring access to books. People need similar support to properly use the internet effectively until they have the skills and knowledge to do it themself

As you say the technical interaction is improving no end. But it’s the soft knowledge management - awareness skills where more face to face support is needed. Not just classes but someone to help when needed
