Blairites like David Milliband have the arrogance to believe ordinary people shouldn’t decide things. His tone is contemptuous of the majority who voted Leave in 2016. He should go back to his mega-salary paid for by a charity https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/dec/24/corbyn-given-up-europe-labour-brexit-vote …

Or maybe he just thinks Labour's leadership should listen to its membership and fight the bigotry and ignorance of brexit.

Are you a Labour member? The reason I ask is that Labour are listening to their members. That’s why we had a conference resolution to keep all options open. It’s just arrogant career politicians like David Milliband, Blair, Umuna and Campbell who think they know better than plebs

nearly joined when Corbyn became leader as I thought he was a breath of fresh air and much needed change. Was totally let down by his pro-Brexit stance. I guess I must be a pleb coming from a small working class town. The vast majority or the party want him to oppose Brexit.

‘Nearly joined’ counts for nothing if you want to criticise a democratic Labour Party I’m afraid. Join and you can engage in the discussion and criticise it as a member as much as you like

Hold on,. so you're saying I can't criticise Labour if I'm not a party member? Fair enough. I guess you should never criticise Conservative policy from now on then... you know, unless you join the Tory party...

No you made an assertion on Labour leadership not listening to its membership. How can you make that assertion if you aren’t a member and base it on what you read or heard somewhere.

Because that's what people do when they look at a party. The same way I can decide I don't like Tory party policy without having to be member of that party. Anyway, it's Christmas Eve and I'm off the pub. Have a good night and Xmas.

But you weren’t criticising the Tory party leadership for ignoring their membership. If you said you don’t like Labour that’s fine. But you specifically criticised the Labour Party leadership failure to listen to members, which isn’t the case as they listened via the conference

Can't believe I'm engaging in this on Xmas Day but don't 86% of Labour Party members want a 2nd ref?
