Labour want a GE now

Should've called a no confidence motion then but they didn't because they feared they'd lose, but even if they had & they'd won & a GE was called & they won that, what would they do differently? Negotiations are done. His Brexit would be no different.

The motion would have been lost - simple maths - hence the reason it wasn’t called

So no GE then. Meanwhile, tick tock, tick tock, the clock is counting down and Corbyn supporters are excited about it. It's beyond farcical at this stage.

There is more to life than Brexit - people are going without food, tortured under PIP assessments, kids in destitution and the homeless. As important as Brexit is it’s not going to kill tens of thousands of people like austerity already has. That why we need a GE to sort this out

A GE to sort out the effects of austerity whilst downplaying the effects of Brexit even though, as we have all read, Brexit is going to impoverish even more people and on a whole new level. Gotcha.

It’s about priorities. Brexit isn’t going to kill thousands of people immediately - austerity is. Brexit will not help the economy, but it’s become the obsession of people not worrying how to feed the kids, have a roof over their head or be thrown off benefits via PIP assessments

How about sorting both? How about not sacrificing one at the altar of the other? How come Labour won't stop Brexit and address austerity? I can't believe that Labour remainders are now pretending that Brexit is no longer a big deal

Labour can’t stop Brexit - they do not have the numbers in the Commons and they respect the referendum result. The DUP are the balancing act and they aren’t going to vote against her - yet. It easy for some opposition parties to say ‘why don’t you’ they haven’t got to deliver it

In that case, they can't stop austerity either because they don't have the numbers. It vexes me that he respects the result of the ref - I kind of feel like he's less respectful, more determined to apply because he wants it.

That’s why we need a GE to unblock things. It’s easy

In that case, and if they won a GE, they could revoke Brexit too. Also easy.

Back to my first point Labour respects the referendum result - and should. If they win the GE then Article 50 will postponed to allow time to renegotiate from a blank sheet without May’s ridiculous red lines.
