Ostberg is a very good driver, but with 1 win from 130 or so WRC starts (mainly for full works teams). Also his Day 2 mental attitude is suspect. Australia was the first time we’d seen proper speed for a long, long time. Last time he was at MSport he was no more than a journeyman

I hope I'm wrong tbf, they obviously don't have nothing for Ostberg (he comfirmed he has no drive) so unlikely they'll have anythimg unless someone comes with money

Let's look at his results this season. Sixth in Monte, tenth after a puncture in Sweden. Then Mexico had to pull out after the high speed roll that gave Dan concussion. Then with Phil Mills in the car, fifth place at tour de corse.

In Argentina , sixth place with Seb in fourth, second place in Portugal, broken steering restricted him to 14th in italia. Seventh in Finland after team orders. Retired in Germany after completing day on in 4th place. More team orders in Turkey to give Ogier 10th
