There is a misguided belief that to be a good Christian you must also be a pushover who supports a borderless Britain to which all 7.5bn people on Earth could move if they so wished. It's not practical; not Christian and not what Jesus would have done. #Newsnight #BrexitBetrayalhttps://twitter.com/KevinPascoe/status/1067189427972255744 …

Sorry my tweet referred to trusting this cruel government - and yes and they have utterly messed up Brexit - but have more importantly viciously hurt the most vulnerable in our society

True but you also implied that a good Christian cannot be a conservative (small C or capital C) and that is unfair. It is certainly true that this hopeless government have badly messed up Brexit.

I can remember when many ‘one nation’ Tory politicians were genuinely concerned about the whole country and the welfare of the most vulnerable, but after Thatcher they became an endangered species. I think this quote highlights the tension between conservatism and Christianitypic.twitter.com/dgls6TQmg7

The most vulnerable in Britain are its indigenous people - and true conservatives, those who wish to conserve our traditions and way of life, should indeed by genuinely concerned about them and their future.

‘Indigenous’ is very curious word to use in a country that has been a melting pot of migration for thousands of years. I suspect the nearest thing today to an indigenous population is the Celts in Wales, Scotland and Cornwall? But they were migrants as well at some point

We haven't been a melting pot of migration for thousands of years, only for the last 60.

Or you consciously chose to ignore our history to suit your own twisted argument
