Why aren’t you fighting Brexit first as it will have a far bigger impact on all forms of injustice in the future than any Labour or Tory policy?

I am bloody frustrated by Brexit, but I am a democrat first. It’s not about the views of the chattering classes - of which we are part - it’s about the disengaged that Brexit engaged. They were lied to by crooks, but that’s democracy. Both leave and vote broke the rules

I appreciate your sentiments but you are wrong on multiple counts: 1. How are you being democratic if you now ignore the wish of what is almost certainly the democratic majority which is that they don't want Brexit 2. Don't even try to equate Leave and Remain's campaigns.

Wishes aren’t votes, and you can’t say “almost certainly” what the citizens of the UK want. Understand your frustration.

Statistically, given the better models now with improved calibration from the 1st ref, I can say “almost certainly” statistically. It is likely that the country would vote to remain. We therefore risk a democratic disaster by implanting an outdated idea the majority don’t want

Well I’m all for better models, some of those in the 90’s were far too skinny. If you think that’s frivolous or fanciful you’re right, but in my defence so was your response. Democracy isn’t a disaster, it’s a good concept. The disaster is those that won’t accept it.

What a bloody mess we are in as a country due to Cameron - he’s divided the nation and buggered off. If only the Lib Dem’s hadn’t installed him as PM in 2010. Clegg and Cable gave a lot to answer for

You can’t blame the Lib Dems, they didn’t include the referendum promise in the subsequent Tory manifesto. They were just glad to have their 15 minutes of fame.

But Clegg and Cable did put Cameron into power in the first place in 2010. He couldn’t have carried out his crusade of destruction without them and in turn call the referendum. Reap but you sew

I agree completely that they were morally bankrupt in their collusion, however I think that promise was always going to turn heads, even when made from outside No. 10.
