I know what you mean but I would argue that paygo is not "fiscally responsible" to the extent that it prevents us from making investments to mitigate climate change, for example. "Fiscally conservative" perhaps but not responsible.

Yes, it makes sense that they would be so fearful of Pelosi's agenda to let the rich keep all of their stolen wealth. Very much in conflict with the GOP agenda of also letting the rich keep their stolen wealth.
