    Good news! ☀️ improves in parts of Africa by 4.5% 2005-2017, but risk being offset by projected increase in fossil fuel use. is part of upcoming assessment of air quality & in Africa coming later this year.

    I was a panel member in this discussion and in short my inputs were... We need to move faster to improve AQ in 🇿🇦. Improvements aren’t happening quick enough. We need to be visibly implementing interventions across sectors & air quality offsets can be one tool of many. (1/4)

    Analysis of data from the Air Quality Index revealed that on bonfire night, air pollution increased in every major UK city. London saw the biggest increase, on 4 November average PM2.5 levels were 48µg/m3, in just 48 hours this figure had almost tripled to a shocking 133µg/m3.

    The country celebrated bonfire night last week with garden displays up and down the country and despite the lack of large-scale events, air pollution still reached dangerously high levels, Air Quality News analysis has revealed.

    Since lockdown my Dad has been meeting up with me and the kids for bike rides. Last night someone thieved it from his yard 😭😭😭 (South Bank, ). If anyone has and ideas of how we might track it down or by any miraculous chance sees it please let me know...❤️
