probably because the lack of a ukip candidate has put the seat at risk of going tory, so they're holding back to help labour

We've had election addresses sent by post, 2 hand-delivered leaflets, plus direct mails, plus have knocked on virtually every door.

In fact we've had people complaining they've had too many leaflets!
