Did any of you working on YouTube ever get hit by the so called "duplication/reused content"?
Is there even a human being on YouTube I can talk to to solve this and not a bot? @TeamYouTube

Content that is not meant to be visually watched is now considered by Youtube as reused content and thus demonetized.

Like your most viewed video for example.

That's it? Because I've been told that all of my playthroughs, not having commentary or facecams on them, are "not original content", thus not able to get monetized.

This is also part of the new "reused content" rules, your channel can be demonetized if you only upload gameplay footage without commentary. "reused content" is really large.

I read an article once about how all video game footage is copyrighted and someday it may all get taken down... It seems like we are lucky that the free ride has lasted this long...

As long as the copyright owner of the game say nothing you are free of problems (unless you are not putting your own commentary over your gameplay videos).

I hate commentary.
