LoR Tournaments before the Seasonal were major time investments with very little monetary gain that a lot of people were not interested in. The way some top players from those events are acting now is frankly embarrassing. Elitism in card games never goes away and it's a shame
The EV is still horrible in the seasonals but at least now its getting better! But yeah there were open qualifiers for 500k event on Hearthstone almost every weekend where even last place gets almost 1k dollars. The more money we see in Lor the more great players will arise!
