Every week I have a few more old faces pop back into Hooglandia and pick their subs back up telling me they found their way into Runeterra and are loving it. It is great to see. Most card game players will have a hard time not liking it if they give it a real chance.
I feel next year will be rapid growth for Runeterra. I just wish we would get a real limited gamemode. Expeditions are not very great but thats almost my only complaint about the game

I'd argue that runeterras limited is strictly superior to magics. There's no random shaft that's unusable, you can easily see built strategies based off pick titles and you don't tend to loose to a giant bomb

I don't really enjoy Magic's limited formats, but I really love what Expeditions are in Runeterra. I like that I actually play with all the cards I pick and that it is pretty close in power level to constructed.

For me its the opposite. I love drafting against other people to try to figure out what colors or synergies are open and i can even hate-draft something i dont want to play against. Artifact was another game that had great draftmode that Lor could learn something from!
