HS being called expensive is so foreign to me having played Magic all my life. FtP is a lie for any game. It is a choice to pay with time or money. Some may have better or worse rewards, but if you want to criticize corporate “greed” you should direct your ire at Capitalism.
I have played mtg since kamigawa and hs since beta and i can tell you @PlayRuneterra is so much closer to true Ftp than either one of these. Also better game except MTG has far superior limited gamemodes.

That’s great! Their strategy to gain market share by undercutting the prices of their competitors is working perfectly! Honestly if I were just getting into card games I would play LoR. I just have so much invested in HS and MTGA that I can’t bring myself to switch.
