More or less agree with all this, but I personally wish there was more push to get people to masters. It’s funny because I agree with the diversity comment yet 80% of my games yesterday were against deep and two players on that deck

Yeah ladder is gonna be full of same decks most of the time. Its how it is with cardgames. Too few people keep exploring almost endles combinations and many decks that could have been viable are never discovered before we get another balance patch since ppl are busy complaining
That’s a problem inherent to any ccg. People can only afford to craft so much, so they look to what’s good/popular. It feels bad to waste resources on an experiment that doesn’t work out. This is less of an issue in LoR since it’s so generous for f2p but it’s still an issue.
The issue with LoR is more "time." If it takes 50 games to refine a new deck, that's about eight hours and you might not even suceed. Someone with a job can try that once a week, essentially. So deck creation is always going to be in a subset of the community.
