1/ 2 I dont get people who complain about current @PlayRuneterra meta. There are 36 possible region combinations if you count allegiance, 861 different champ combinations if you only count playing 3x of 2 different champ. I feel people have completely unrealistic expectations.
2/3. I think the game is on an amazing spot when we concider we only have base-set and 1,5 expansions. Try playing Hearthstone or MTG with just one core set and 2 expansions. We have less garbage cards and very regular balance patches.Even casual players can actually afford cards
3/3 I have played 5 different card games on high level and what @PlayRuneterra has achieved in only couple sets is amazing. If we get spectator mode and esports program it will be the very best cardgame out there. Give the amazing devs some credit and stop complaining. #runeterra
More or less agree with all this, but I personally wish there was more push to get people to masters. It’s funny because I agree with the diversity comment yet 80% of my games yesterday were against deep and two players on that deck

Yeah ladder is gonna be full of same decks most of the time. Its how it is with cardgames. Too few people keep exploring almost endles combinations and many decks that could have been viable are never discovered before we get another balance patch since ppl are busy complaining
I aggree in terms of tournament games, but on ladder becomes really different. There are some cards that need changes and almost every queue is against the same decks over and over again
Thats why we get balance patches and new cards, the natural cycle of card games. I just feel people are growing too impatient. Its only been couple weeks since we got the expansion and we know we are getting balance patch so chilling would be my advice!
You're analysing this too rationally - it's not about the actual tally of available combos or playstyles. I'd say most frustration stems from most of the ranked ladder being either A) oppressive Trundle decks, which need nerfing or B) Previous meta lists ie Swain & Scouts.
The majority of players who complain follow a meta or snapshots, they don't know how to get out of them or invent counters, be original, so the only solution is to complain.

The meta is super diverse! Theres plenty of decks that are not even discovered yet. I infact just climbed to masters with one! with some cards no one else plays!
