Police brutality is getting out of hand.pic.twitter.com/6XGsKM0hD3

I watched your link and she is still an overdramatic child. It was a balloon!! A balloon was pushed away from being annoyingly tapped in someones face. The audacity, the unmitigated gall!!
-
If I didn't think you'd actually do it I'd suggest you try popping a balloon in your eyes to see for yourself. You don't care that the video is faked because you share the ideology it promotes. People generally only care about dishonesty from those they disagree with.
-
If she wasn’t standing there bobbing the cop in the head with a balloon, she wouldn’t have gotten a balloon popped near her eye. Simple stuff.
-
Again, you don't care that the video is faked because you share the ideology it promotes. People generally only care about dishonesty from those they disagree with.
-
Which is, by the way, pretty much the opposite of what Jesus recommended. That stuff about the mote in the eye doesn't fit well with the way partisan politics is carried out on Twitter.
-
Btw... the Jesus comment made you look small
-
Don't care how it makes me look, only care about the truth in it. As you should. If you disagree, please explain why.
-
I think virtue signaling in Jesus’ name when someone fails to adequately make a valid point is petty. You came at me with assumptions knowing nothing about me other than that I disagree with what the girl did, do not have simpathy for the consequence, and I have a cross.

Maybe she’ll think twice before being stupid again. You reap that which you sow.
-
The stupid would include those taken in by a faked video because it fits their ideological assumptions, don't you think?
-
Nope, I watched the video, she was stupid and she didn't get hurt. Play stupid games get stupid prizes.
-
You have made my point. You don't care that the sound was faked because you share the ideological view it promotes. Hyperpartisanship makes hypocrites of all.
-
No, I watched the unedited version and my statement still stands, don't be fucking stupid and try to be cute in a volatile environment.
-
Again, and I can't be more clear, the sound is fake. And you don't care. See above.
-
Yes, the scream is fake. Yes, the balloon popped in her face and hurt her eye. Yes, the edit was most likely created for the purpose of division and hate. None of that changes the fact that a grown woman pretend-fighting a cop with a balloon is incredibly silly and childish.
-
No doubt, but that hasn't been my concern here. This kind of thing is a poison to civic life, and that concerns me more than whether she was silly and childish.

Still not "police brutality."
-
I don't think anyone seriously claimed it was police brutality. The acceptance and defense of this faked video shows how far people will accept obvious dishonesty and bad faith as long as it fits their own ideology. But if it's done on the other side, that's different.
-
It looks totally fake but is it? These days you can’t trust any video anymore. If you have background info on this I’d appreciate it.
-
The faked version of the video has been making the rounds in social media for three years, shortly after the original version, but I don't know where it originated.
-
Fake or not, it seems absolutely plausible, we see that same behavior in professional soccer, wouldn't be surprising from a deranged snowflake.
-
There's no reason to think her reaction was fake. The balloon popped in her face, which can cause a serious injury. It may have had pepper spray on it from earlier.
-
I agree. I think the video is absolutely void of any deeper meaning. She might have faked, she might have hurt from getting the balloon in her eye. There’s no indication she tried to rile up ppl against the police. No indication of a conspiratorial effort. All interpretation.
-
A few seconds later she's shown getting something squirted in her eyes, which seems overkill if there was nothing in them.
