A filling made from Amalfi lemon curd and elderflower buttercream ties all the elements together. The cake is decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and 150 fresh flowers, mainly British, and in season, including peonies and roses. #RoyalWedding

Idk. The decorator at least could of made the edges smooth. Looks rough on the edges. I could of did better.

What exactly do elderflowers taste like besides, well, flowers?

-
Have you ever had elderflower cordial? It’s a lovely delicate flavour, fragrant and only slightly sweet, and will go beautifully with a light sponge and tart lemon curd. The cake sounds entirely delicious.
