Sincere Q: For the first orbital launch from Kodiak 20 years ago, even besides the pad itself, we used launch control building, weather balloon shed, deployable tracking radar, etc. Is that stuff really not being used this time, or just not being counted as “infrastructure?”
We are not using any of these assets. The launch system is fully mobile and deployed to Kodiak and remotely operated from our Mission Control Center in California.

Thanks for the question! Coupling our rocket to the range would make it impossible to operate from anywhere, and would make it harder to optimize the economics of our launch service.
