Is this really how you read this letter? They’re right. I was totally offended by the Home Sec claiming because she was called a name in the playground as a kid she can dismiss there is any racism to sort out now. It was rude & offensive how she dismissed the MP who asked the Q

She also said that in order to advance in her career she was as advised not to use her own surname. Just how much racism does qualify? Do we have to have a hierarchy of victims now? And, more importantly, doesn’t that send out the wrong message? Some racism bad, some ok-ish.

I doubt if Priti Patel cares what you think. Ditto to Boris. Racism against Black people is the worst that exists and you know it, yet Priti Patel dismissed it with her usual flippant and unempathetic manner which says a lot about her&her response to the above letter. SHAME.
