And may the media reference this moment as the better way every time the extremes try to derail our institutions.

Curious what you deem extremes? Must we continuously forget that civil inaction got us Trump & -1000 seats. Why we’re in this mess! Until Dems stop trying to rationalize w/ the irrational, we’ll see a breakdown. Left of center gave us some of the best policy, rights in America!

Do you actually believe that's what happened? Because, that's not what it is. It's McConnell understanding he doesn't have the votes without this. That simple.
-
I think she’s referring to Jeff Flake, Republican, being the holdout- for a better process, through fbi investigation. He did a good thing.
-
Flake did his job for once. That’s all. Barely. And he did it in the harsh reality that GOP didn’t have the votes. Thus Mitch.
-
He did the right thing. And women survivors, everywhere, felt heard, like with a brand new, big ear. It’s an important step, considering he went against his party and the wishes of those who support his future endeavors.
-
They (GOP) didn’t have the votes Full stop I don’t applaud people for doing the bare minimum of decency and honor, much less honoring their oath of office.
-
I get it. But as a survivor I want to encourage more of the big ear stuff, so we have more of it. With the current garbage admin, and McConnell plowing thru, I’ll take the wins, when we get one.

-
And thank you for the
#SaturdayMorning thoughtful & civil discourse

It was good for me, too.

Well, it's lovely you could find a way to cram it into your a comforting MSM narrative frames that was obsolete years ago, but, no, that's not what happened today. What happened was a handful of heroic women shamed a single senator into a halfway stance between wrong and right.

Ha, no some senators, who fear losing their seats, realized that this was a train wreck&women were going to leave their party for a generation &said, “let’s not do this insane thing of pushing this angry partisan guy who assaulted women through without some semblance of oversight

Once the Rs refused to allow Merrick Garland, they destroyed confidence in the process forever (for anyone paying attention). You think that'll never happen again, now that politicians have seen that they can do it?

Such BS just to say that the pirates got more time to concoct stories about a maniac that only assaults registered democrats?
-
The majority of college educated women lean Democratic. It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just the type of people Kavanaugh would have been around as a young man.
-
That is just dumb

Aren’t you pleasant.
