You gotta give em props for their willingness to just say shit like this. I wonder if they’d find beer-drinking attractive in if she raped a couple girls first and repeated the words “I like beer” as though they were her mantra?

This is a distortion worthy of your former boss. You coulda kept it for purely personal use—just not forced your staff to maintain it or otherwise exploit your position to build your private account. But you wanted to benefit personally from public office, also just like Trump

Trump said European leaders have told him they don't know how they've gotten away with taking advantage of the U.S. so long. This is one of the many Trump claims that can't be definitively called false but sure is super-false sounding.

Quebec introduced a universal childcare program 20 years ago. While hardly lavish, it produced the highest rate of female workforce participation in the world. It also raised Quebec's fertility rate. And it paid for itself, through added tax revenues created by working women.

You know that's a lie. Prices are down because there's a glut on the market. They're as low or lower in carbon levy AB. What happened to make you think it's all right to lie to Ontarians? Have you no shame? No conscience?

Closing pitch: a lot of stuff the Star does -- especially in 1) exposing government wrongdoing, secrecy and dishonesty and 2) standing up for powerless people -- would simply not be done if the Star didn't do it. Please consider subscribing if you can!

I'd rather say "fuck" than fuck people over, which is what your party is doing. I'd rather rant like a lunatic that submissively accept your party's ideology, which is shameful & deceitful. And I'd rather be crass than accepting of your bullshit.

Trumpism is an infection - a pathogen easily transmitted. Thinking, decent Canadians need to do everything they can to strengthen the country’s immune system to stop the early signs of infection before it seriously festers. Ontario did not pay attention and Ford broke out.

2019 is gonna be the site of one of the nastiest federal election cycles in recent memory. If progressives can’t abandon the idea of perfection and work together, it’s gonna be so damn ugly.

Closer to home: suburban sprawl developer Mattamy Homes donates $100,000 to Ontario Proud, who shills for Doug Ford. Once elected, he removes environmental protections on our precious ecological resource, the Greenbelt. Yes, sometimes politics is simple.
