Another person not given a death sentence, but through lack of action from @GovNedLamont and @rollin_cook ended up with one. He and countless others should have been released at the onset of the pandemic.
A seventh incarcerated person has passed away due to #COVID19. He was 60 years old and had been held at Osborn Correctional. He’d serving 43 years for murder; he would have been released in September 2023.

My heart is broken. This is death due to inaction, due to a fundamental belief that redemption is not possible and people should be thrown away. This is easier than addressing the root causes of violence, inequality, poverty, generational trauma, divestment in communities, etc.

This further highlights CT Govt horrible fiscal management. Tax and spend hurts everyone for longterm. We need to shed light on the systemic failures, their ignoring ways to fix what is broken and buying votes by letting Unions run the state. So much stuff the public should know

So I would be considered a liberal so I’m pretty much about helping others but this guy was a murderer. If it makes me a bad person that I say he should have known jail is a bad and dirty place. If he didn’t commit murder he wouldn’t have gotten the virus. It’s his fault
