    Sometimes it feels wrong that it’s only my name on the spine. Even my new book proposals are refined with input from my agent & editors - & that’s just the beginning. A book is a story partnership between writer & reader’s imagination - takes a whole village to bridge that gap.

    Only the writer gets their name on the front of a book. Salute to all the other smart, dedicated, essential folk: the publishing staff in editorial, design, production, sales & marketing, & the printers, bookshop staff, librarians ... & readers. Thank you. x
