My lil sis just turned 21. We were having a convo & I said something along the lines of “they’re better than that” & she said, “no, ppl are what they show u. That’s your optimism.” I’m stunned because my optimism is a “positive” quality. But maybe it creates delusions too.
At my job today they gave me a chauffeur. He’d been waiting awhile for me to finish & when I got back into the car he was watching Ginny & Georgia. I was curious & asked what made him watch, did his kids watch? He said no, just him, to try & understand his daughter better. 🥹
