It’s not borrowed money anyway. The government prints money & gets that money into circulation through the deficit. Every dollar the government owes is a dollar doing work in the economy.

Nah, the founders were used to lords and representatives of the Crown taking money and crops and manpower and pretty much whatever they wanted from the residents. This is better.
