Update. Proud to announce I’m joining the firm that litigated Floyd v. City of New York (the stop & frisk case) and represented four of the Central Park Five, Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, and the family of Eric Garner, among other landmark civil rights cases. blhny.com/keeganstephan

Texas is banning all physical mail to incarcerated people, such as hand drawn cards from children, and sending them scans instead, citing "contraband," even though everyone knows almost no contraband enters prisons this way, and most comes through guards. texasstandard.org/stories/texas-

As I've said, I could not be more proud than to represent Keith Lamar, an innocent man scheduled to be executed on Nov. 16, 2023. Yesterday, Ohio's Governor granted a reprieve of his execution until 2027. This will give our team time to reinvestigate and prove his innocence.
