YouTube...or more exactly Google...is a private (non-government) organization. As such they should be allowed to restrict any content the want. If you owned YouTube, wouldn't you want this freedom too?
There's lots of examples, but recently I think the channel LouderwithCrowder is a clear example. He was demonetized and his videos removed, until winning a lawsuit and having them reinstated, despite no instances of breaking those guidelines.

Of course he's a comedian who approaches things from a conservative perspective, so it's bound to offend some people. But I don't think comedy that pokes fun at someone can be considered hateful. And if it is to youtube, they should specify that comedy and satire is off limits.
