The idea behind scrapping the renewables levy was that cheaper power meant higher uptake of electric transport & heating – now the price reduction will be a small relief amid rising energy prices due to the Russian war against Ukraine & gas-supply crunch

Denmark could be the next country cut off from Russian natural gas 🇩🇰🥊🇷🇺 🙅 Orsted (Denmark’s top utility) says it won’t pay for Russian fuel in rubles currency 🇪🇺 Finland, Poland, Bulgaria also cut off recently. Still, all are relatively small buyers
