    The exec order calling for departments to advance racial equity runs directly counter to the prospect of doing verification as business as usual. This is a time to learn lessons from the pandemic, not perpetuate inequitable processes.

    Today’s notice on AY 22-23 verification is deeply disappointing & a missed opportunity to make permanent improvements to a process that has historically been more harmful than helpful. We urge ED to continue its current verification relief.
