Growing up so religiously, I thought the ultimate battle for me to fight was a spiritual Armageddon against Satan’s army. Since giving that ridiculousness up, I’ve felt somewhat lost not knowing what to fight for.
I’ve seen the word #incel recently and avoided researching it bc I didn’t want to know. I have talked to men who think they need sex to feel fulfilled, and omg I didn’t know how deeply it went for some of them. I don’t understand, but I’m learning.https://twitter.com/jessicavalenti/status/989579164461228032 …

There are many shades of
#feminism and I am finished with my man-hating phase. I’ll admit that I was unfair about a lot of it at first. I was reacting out of anger and pain, instead of productivity and progress.Show this thread -
I’m slowly seeing a new battle that I want to fight. A battle where everyone, men and women, Christians and atheists, will be the heroes. A battle against one-sidedness, really. I want to fight ignorance and do my part to bring people together.

I don’t know much more than that right now, but I just wanted to put this out there. I’m not promoting a matriarchy, but goddamnit I’m ready to bring this patriarchy to its fucking knees. Blow me.
