I am an Atheist. I think she is going to be fine in the long run. I am more worried about you. My son had a traumatic brain injury was was unconscious and in ICU at 5 years old. He is now 45 and is an economist.

Oh, no! Of course I’ll pray for Molly. I’m a former neuro trauma RN—you’d be amazed by the resilience of the brain, especially the young brain. That doesn’t make things a whole lot less scary when you’re in the midst of a crisis, but hopefully knowing that positive outcomes .../1

So true! My son, an adult, was on a motorcycle and crashed with a car. No hemet. Coma for a month. He is now walking, talking, doing really well! Dr's didn't have a lot of hope to offer me, but they did the best they could, perfectly. Praying for your baby girl

Kaye, in 2019 my granddaughter was in a terrible accident, suffered a severe TBI & was not expected to live. It’s been a long difficult journey but she’s doing better than I dared dream possible on that horrible day. My prayers are with you and with your daughter’s full recovery.

Our son was in a terrible car accident in 2005. TBI. 14 days in trauma intensive care unit, 14 days in step down unit. He has two beautiful daughters now. Miracles do happen. Prayer changes things, I am convinced. I am praying for your Molly. And you.

And I forgot to say — talk to her — in your head! Talk to her aloud when you’re able to see her. My son regained consciousness, his breathing tubes removed...I sang to him. He opened one eye and said,”Ma! Stop! You’re killing me!” I was thrilled!! My awful voice forced him awake!
