Wait, don’t you have gender neutral bathrooms in your own home? I’d feel like my child was naturally relieving themselves in a private space, in a private way, just like they do at home. Grow up and stop fearmongering. You’re too old to behave this way.

I don’t use the bathroom the same time as my guest. Single use isn’t what this post is about. Also I know who comes into my home. I’m asking a question and you’re not concerned about young girls being victimized in public areas which is more of a concern than my question.

Well, since my son has autism & cant use a public restroom alone, i'd be thrilled. Because then i can help him without having women give me dirty looks for bringing a boy into a woman's bathroom, or me joining him in the men's. We arent the only family in this boat. Judge less.

Same. Have an autistic son and these family restrooms are a blessing.

So do you have separate bathrooms for men and women in your house? If not, those are gender neutral bathrooms.

I don’t let strangers in my house so no need to separate when you know who’s coming in and out. This is a massive safety issue and will end up causing someone to be harmed but those who can’t hear must feel.

Family bathrooms, (gender neutral), are crucial for anyone with a disability who may need assistance, or for young children who may need help from a parent of another sex. Why is this even a thing? I truly don’t get the problem.

I’m not talking about the single use ones. Family single use are completely fine. This post was about the multiple use and has been completely taken out of context
