1 problem with twitter is trying to have a civil conversation with someone I disagree with who I’ve never met and can’t possibly know. Pretending you know much about me or my “type” is a convenient way to avoid even considering a different perspective or uncomfortable facts.

I think you know the facts, actually. There are something like tens of millions of interactions between the cops and blacks. Most of them are civil. A handful of unarmed people are killed by cops every year, most of them are white, and considering that violent crimes are
