How about "Chesa prosecutes crimes except when the victim asks him not to?" Oh, I forgot, you live in an angry bubble where facts that contradict your beliefs must be explained away, so you'll live in denial of the fact that the victim actually asked Boudin not to prosecute.

As I said, Chesa went to talk to a marginalized person, and God knows what he said to get him to agree to it. Can you imagine asking for restorative justice for George Floyd? And, again, this is not the only high profile crime Chesa didn’t prosecute.

Or better yet, here's legit logic I actually DO like: Incarceration is not the only, nor always the best consequence for every crime. America locks up more people than any other democracy, yet we have more crime and more violence. Other paths to justice are needed.
